In the previous survey, from January, there were 49% those who disapproved of the petista’s work
GENIAL RESEARCH/QUAREST released this Wednesday (2.ab.2025) shows that the disapproval of the president of the president (PT) grew and reached 56%. It is the worst index since the beginning of the petista’s mandate. It is still the first time that the percentage exceeds 50%.
The survey was conducted from March 27 to 31. 2,004 people were interviewed 16 years or older throughout Brazil. The margin of error is 2 pp (percentage points) for more or less. The confidence level is 95%. The research was commissioned by the great investment. Here is (PDF – 12 MB).

- approves: 41%;
- disapproval: 56%;
- Don’t know/didn’t answer: 3%.
Disapproval is higher in the South and Southeast regions.
Those who disapprove of Lula’s work are those who are 16 to 34 years old. The age group over 60 is the only one in which the president has, numerically, greater approval.
The survey indicates that 41% classify Lula’s work as “negative”. Another 29% said they were “regular” and 27%, “positive”. Those who did not know or did not respond with 3%.
For 43% of respondents, the Lula government is worse than the previous one, from (PL), growth of 6 pp over the previous survey of December.
The vast majority (81%) of respondents said Lula should make a different government in the last 2 years of office.
The interviewees were asked about Lula’s behavior. For 47%, it is not well intentioned. For 71%, the president is not fulfilling campaign promises.
More than half (56%) estimates that the country is in the wrong direction and that the economy has worsened in the last 12 months.
Since the latest survey, it has risen the number of Brazilians who say the prices of food, gasoline, water and light rose.
