Embraer () reported on Tuesday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkish Aerospace to explore potential industrial cooperation between companies, including the possibility of production of E2 jets in Turkey, as reported to the press.
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer said it is actively seeking new suppliers and partners worldwide to meet the growing demand for the manufacturer’s products.

“Turkish Aerospace aims to leverage its strategic capabilities in the manufacture and assembly of metal and compound structures, final assembly of fuselage, components, test flights and production, and painting,” Embraer said in the statement without further details about E2 production.
“The agreement addresses the collaborative phase between Embraer and Turkish Aerospace to discuss a potential comprehensive industrial partnership involving research & Development (R&D),” he added.
Embraer president Francisco Gomes Neto said in the statement that the memo “marks a significant step in exploring innovative solutions and expanding our global presence.”
