Valgênio Caminha claims that internal state -owned documents were used to benefit a solidarity action at the Court
The Attorney General of Maranhão, Valdenio Caminha, asked the Supreme Court (STF) and the PGR (Attorney General’s Office) to investigate 2 advisers of Minister Flávio Dino in relation to an alleged misuse of confidential information to benefit a lawsuit of the Solidarity Party, which has already integrated Dino’s base in Maranhão. According to the prosecutor, the advisors Túlio Simões and Lucas Souza accessed and shared documents from the internal system of PGE-MA (Attorney General of the State of Maranhão), where they are licensed, to support an action brought by solidarity in the Supreme Court in which he asked his removal for not complying one. The party said the prosecutor “He acted to ensure that the dismissed could continue to receive improper compensation”.
The prosecutor claims “Clear attempt at retaliation and intimidation”since he asked for investigations against the state deputy (solidarity), brother of the president of the Solidarity Party in Maranhão, Márcia Neto. The deputy would still be married to the alternate who took the vacancy left by Dino in the Senate-when he was appointed to the MJ (Ministry of Justice)-the current senator (PDT-MA).
The advisors would be looking for Documents related to an action in the Supreme Court that investigates a case of nepotism in the Government of Maranhão related to family members of the governor (PSB-MA), according to the letter.
According to Walk, the alleged illicit activities of the advisors took place on STF’s own computers, according to a report by the State Agency of Information Technology of Maranhão.
