Research from the Genial Institute/Quaest released on Wednesday 2, on the assessment of the government of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) shows that 43% of voters find the management of the petista worse than former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL). Those who find the current mandate better than that of the retired captain are 39%. For 15%, the two are equal and 3% could not answer.
The scenario changed in relation to the latest survey by Genial/Quaest in December on the subject. In that survey, 42% found Lula’s government better than Bolsonaro’s, while 37% preferred that of the former president. Those who found the same management were 20% and another 3% could not answer.
The survey by Genial/Quaest interviewed 2,004 voters from 120 municipalities between March 27 and 31. The margin of error is two percentage points and the reliability index is 95%.
The survey by Genial/Quaris showed that the approval of the Lula government has fallen again and reached the worst level since the beginning of management in January 2023. Those who disapprove of management are 56%, while 41% approve. Another 3% could not answer.
Regarding government evaluation, 41% consider Lula’s management negative, 27% evaluate as positive and 29% point the executive as regular. Another 3% could not answer.
For 53% of Brazilians, Lula’s third management in the presidency is worse than the previous two (2003-2010). Another 23% think it is the same as the previous ones and 20% consider it as the best. Voters who could not answer sum 4%.
