Not all dishes can be placed in the dishwasher
The dishwasher is undoubtedly one of the best solutions of recent years. It is located in most Polish homes and facilitates cleaning at home every day. Probably no owner of this equipment would like to return to traditional washing of the dishes in the sink with sponge and liquid. However. Well, although most of us use the dishwasher every day, not everyone realizes that there are several types of vessels that are not allowed to wash in the dishwasher. Why? Some of them under the influence of a higher temperature prevailing during the washing cycle may damage. There are also such and then you will need to intervene a service technician who can cost us several hundred zlotys. What cannot be washed under the dishwasher under any circumstances?
These 4 vessels cannot be washed in the dishwasher
Although the dishwasher makes it easier for us to wash dirty dishes, unfortunately not all of them are suitable for such a cleaning process. First of all, it is definitely reborn to place knives in the device. Why? Under the influence of higher temperatures, they can go quickly. Wooden cutlery should not be washed in the dishwasher, which after such a long soaking water will start to crack. Another thing that should not be found in the device are jars with labels. Of course, this is about paper labels, which during the cycle peel off and clog the dishwasher filters. Over time, a sticky paper accumulated in it can lead to a dishwasher failure. The list of forbidden vessels also includes plastic containers. Hot water can deform them, and toxic substances can penetrate the food.
How to use the dishwasher?
First, scrape larger food leftovers to the trash or composter. You don’t have to rinse the dishes thoroughly under running water, because modern dishwashers are able to cope with most dirt. Make sure the dishes are suitable for washing in the dishwasher. If you have vessels with heavily burnt food, it is worth soaking them in warm water with the addition of dishwashing liquid. Use a dishwasher detergent, powder or gel. Dose the detergent according to the instructions on the packaging. Then select the washing program suitable for the type of vessels and the degree of dirt and start the device. Remember to leave the door slightly ajar after the cycle is completed, so that the water vapor from the inside will evaporate.
