ORF issues around half of his income directly for the program

The ORF does not only have to disclose the top salaries from 170,000 euros a year by the end of March. The transparency report prescribed by the law since 2024 also provides detailed data about income, such as from advertising, and the expenses of ORF apart from the staff. The report also shows how much of the two-thirds from ORF contributions pronounced media group for program and content on TV, radio and online. In 2024, the production costs made a little more than half of the total budget of around 1.09 billion euros.
