Deputy Carlos Cezar, leader of PL NA, should be nominated for by the end of this year.
Cezar counts on the friendship and commitment of Alesp President André do Prado (PL), to be chosen by the other deputies to take over the vacancy of counselor Sidney Beraldo, who is expected to retire in November.
Deputy since 2010, Cezar has his electoral base in the Sorocaba region, is a lawyer and pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church. Before going to PL, he was on the PSB and became a leader at Alesp of then -governor Márcio França (PSB) in 2018.
“It is a great honor to be quoted, we need to respect the other names in the House too, but I hope at the end of this process will succeed,” said Cezar, who has been outstanding the competition of deputies Gilmaci Santos (Republicans) and Jorge Caruso (MDB).
In addition to Beraldo, the current president of the ECA, Antonio Roque Citadini, will turn 75 in September and should also retire. The nomination for succeeding Citadini is up to the governor (Republicans), who intends to get Wagner Rosario.
Current, general controller of the State of São Paulo, Rosario is also former Minister of the Comptroller General of the Union in Jair Bolsonaro (PL) management.
With these two nominations, the ECA, which is composed of seven counselors, will have four nominees throughout the Tarcisio management.
