PM holds two men for drug trafficking in abandoned residence

Two men were arrested for drug trafficking in the Nova Estação neighborhood of Rio Branco on the night of Tuesday, April 1st. The action was carried out by a team from the Rotam Company, from the Special Operations Battalion (Bope), the Acre Military Police (PMAC), during routine patrolling.

The police identified an individual entering an alley known for the narcotics trade and followed him to an abandoned residence. Upon being approached, he confessed that he was on site to buy marijuana.

During more detailed searches, more portions of the narcotic were seized, hidden under the table, as well as two other precision scales and $ 84 in kind.

The second suspect, who wore electronic anklet, denied involvement and claimed to be just “spending time” on the spot. The pair was arrested in the act and sent to the police station, where they will respond for drug trafficking.
