Mayor attempts consensus on the urgency of the proposal and prioritizes release of amendments
The President of the Chamber of Deputies, (Republicans-PB), said in a speech in the plenary on this 3rd (1st.br.2025) “Balance Time” and to act with “Political detachment”without what he called “False heroism”.
The statements were made on the day the PL (of the former president) bench at Casa Baixa “Total obstruction” while Motta does not guide the urgency (which accelerates the processing) of the bill that amnesty convicted by January 8.
“It is not time to follow anyone, but to act with political detachment, without any kind of petty, and to act haughty, but without false heroisms. It’s time for balance, pragmatism and seeking to get it right and not deviate to easy error. People expect responsibility and loyalty, and we will do our duty.”said the Paraiban deputy.
MOTTA this Thursday (1st.abr) with the leader of the PL in the House, (RJ), to discuss the theme. In search of consensus, he said he would dialogue with leaders from other parties, but stressed that the priority is the release of amendments to subtitles.
PL OF RECIPRITY
In opening the order of the day, Motta also referred to to authorize Brazil to adopt tariff and environmental reciprocity in Brazil with other countries – which gained strength after the latest measures of the president of the United States, Donald Trump (Republican), which increased the Brazilian steel and aluminum import rate to 25%.

“This is what people expect from us. Let us think differently, yes, but not when our people are threatened. When the people can run any kind of danger, we have to come together, because first of all, the people are, and everything is smaller when the reference is the people.”
Support to the Amnesty PL
The former president’s PL (Liberal Party) is the largest interested in the project. The previous week, the subtitle in retaliation for the acceptance of the complaint of the PGR (Attorney General’s Office) by the Supreme Court (STF) against Bolsonaro and another 7, which for attempted coup.

The opposition still tries the support of solidarity. However, the president of the acronym, deputy (SP), will not support the text.
