Mikuláš Černák does not suffer from the life sentence of the former barefoot of the Banská Bystrica underworld, and even in the past he did not suffer from any serious mental illness in the sense of psychosis. During the application for a conditional release of Cernak from prison, it stated this on Wednesday at a court in Piešťany Expert from the Department of Psychiatry Ivan Dóci.
The expert clarified that this conclusion was based on the study of criminal files, other expert opinions and also on his own examination, which lasted an hour and a half. “I have verified whether the conclusions of earlier expert opinions are still valid today,” he said.
According to his own words, he asked the convicted questions about the assessment of the possible occurrence of a serious mental illness. According to him, Černák has never committed a serious crime under the influence of psychosis. He added that the assessment of any other personality disorder or guilt belongs to the hands of a psychologist.
An expert from the Department of Psychology Michal Chovanec explained that he did not detect psychopathology in terms of personality disorders. His words also show that in the case of Černák there is a high probability of conducting proper life. The expert further clarified that the sentence was not recorded by violations of the prison order or other serious offenses by the convict.
At a public session, he also testified Karel Netík, an expert in the Department of Psychology, designed by defense. He did not find any psychopathology that would affect the ability of the convict to adapt. He also pointed out that if Černák had a mixed personality disorder, it would appear in the results of the tests carried out, which did not happen. The prosecutor of the District Prosecutor’s Office Trnava objected to the impartiality and impartiality of the expert.
The proposal for the conditional release of Černák from prison was filed by the civic association Restart-Nomin Life. At last year’s public meeting, Černák asked to decide on the proposal for release so that it is also his personal proposal. He re -regretted the deeds.
The public meeting takes place almost after a year. The adjournment was related to the need to draw up other expert opinions from the Department of Psychology and Psychiatry. The former BOS Banská Bystrica underworld is serving a lifelong sentence of imprisonment for several murders. Conditions for life sentences may, after 25 years in prison, apply for conditional release.
