A Last Monday (31) released the first version of the Goal Plan for the mayor’s second term which will extend until 2028. This strategic document lists 126 priority objectives for the Public Administration, with an investment estimated at 48.8 billion reais. Among the main guidelines are the increase in the literacy rate of students in the municipal network, the delivery of new swimming pools, the expansion of bike lanes and bike lanes, the renewal of the bus fleet, the hiring of civil guards, the acquisition of non -lethal weapons, the resurfacing of roads and the delivery of new parks.

From next week, the population of São Paulo will have the opportunity to actively participate in the definition of proposals for municipal management. This will be possible through public hearings, where citizens will be able to express their opinions and suggestions. In addition, for those who prefer to contribute virtually, there will be the option to suggest changes to the plan text through online platforms. This participatory process is fundamental to ensure that the needs and expectations of Paulistanos are considered in the final formulation of the plan.

According to the calendar released by the City Hall, the final version of the Goal Plan is expected to be presented in mid -September. Until then, the contributions of the population will be analyzed and, when pertinent, incorporated into the document. This period of public consultation is a crucial step in ensuring that the plan reflects collective priorities and is an effective instrument for the development of the city.

Mayor Ricardo Nunes will have the responsibility to account for the semiannual manner and publish an annual report on the progress of the plan. This initiative aims to ensure the transparency and monitoring of the established goals, allowing the population to be informed about the progress of planned actions. Regular accountability is essential to maintain public trust and ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effective for the benefit of all citizens of São Paulo.

“Our goals ensure that resources reach places where they are most necessary and in the form of effective measures, with concrete and measurable results. A look and special care with peripheral regions and with those who need it most,” says the mayor.
