USA threatens to make Russia the same as with Repsol

In the event that the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, decided to launch an attack against Europe, it is unlikely that the president of the United States, Donald Trump, helped European countries, as reflected in a filtered document of the Pentagon.

A confidential guide of the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, acknowledged that it is unlikely that the Trump administration offers substantial support, if any, to Europe in case of a Russian attack, as reported .

The secret document, called “Provisional National Defense Strategic Guide”, establishes that, although the US could trust their vast nuclear deterrence, European allies could only expect troops deployments that are not already committed to national defense or the fight against China.

The document “describes, in broad and sometimes partisan details, the execution of the vision of President Donald Trump to prepare and win a possible war against Beijing and defend the United States of threats abroad nearby, including Greenland and the Panama Canal,” according to the US newspaper.

The document also reflects the Trump administration approach in China and its departure from other scenarios. Both the Trump administration and the Biden administration considered China as the greatest threat to the United States and displayed the necessary strength to prepare and deter conflict in the Pacific region.

However, the document is “extraordinary” in its description of “Taiwan’s potential invasion as the exclusive scenario that must be prioritized over other potential hazards.”
