Without the senator, Nikolas Ferreira (PL) appears in 1st with 39.4% of the votes; Romeu Zema (Novo) leads to the Senate with 52.7%

Survey released this Thursday (3.ab.2025) shows that the Senator (Republicans) leads in the intention of votes for the government of Minas Gerais, with 39,7%. He is followed by the former mayor of Belo Horizonte (19,3%).

The survey interviewed 1,660 people from 26 and 30 March in 70 municipalities of Minas Gerais. The error margin is 2.5 percentage points, more or less. The confidence level is 95%. This is the survey (PDF – 393 kb).

Without Cleitinho, the advantage would be of the Federal Deputy (PL), with 39.4% of intentions vote. The congressman has said that he does not rule out the possibility of running for office in 2026.
