The picturesque village of Furnazinhas, in the municipality of Castro Marim, is the scene of another edition of the traditional Fair of the Field, scheduled for April 18, from 10h00, coinciding with the running march.
This event, deeply rooted in the rural identity of the region, promises a day full of field traditions and flavors. Visitors will be able to find regional handicrafts, local products, an exhibition of farm animals, and also participate in bread and cheese manufacturing studiors, experiences that refer to the ancestral practices of life in the countryside.
One of the most awaited moments will be the Running March, with 5 and 10 kilometers, integrated into the Algarve regional gear and race calendar. Participation is free, and it is necessary to register until April 16 through number 969 700 208 or the email.
The musical animation will also be present with performances by Hugo Madeira and Luís Cristina, who promise to streamline the environment throughout the day.
The Field Fair is organized by the Odeleite Parish Council, in collaboration with the Odeleite Parish Social Association and the Castro Marim City Council, in a celebration of the local culture and the rural way of life.
