The FPF (Paulista Football Federation) published on Wednesday (2) a decree to ban the presence of organized Corinthians fans in stadiums of São Paulo until the end of the year. The veto is valid for all the competitions that the club will compete in, not just for the Paulista Championship.

The measure, in force from Wednesday, was based on a recommendation made by MP-SP (Public Prosecutor of São Paulo) as punishment for the alvinegros fans who used flags and shot fireworks on the lawn of Neo Chemistry Arena, in Itaquera, during the state’s decision, in which the team of Parque São Jorge drew with Palmeiras and got the title on the 27th.

The recommendation encompasses six organized alvinegras: Faithful Gavião, Shirt 12, Faithful Macabre, Pavilion 9, Faithful Faithful and Coringão Chopp. The FPF said it will send a letter to the State Security Bodies and the São Paulo State Public Prosecution Service to oversee compliance with the determination.

Control of the entrance of organized fans will be done by identifying clothing, bands, flags and objects that allude to any of the fans mentioned.

In a statement, Gavião da Fiel, the club’s main organized crowd, said he received the news with surprise and asked his members to use the “ban shirt” in the match against Huracán on Wednesday (2), when Corinthians debut in the South American Cup at 7 pm in Itaquera.

“We ask for everyone’s collaboration to form the Black Sea: seen your shirt from the ban or black shirt of Corinthians and help to publicize this mobilization,” says excerpt from the note.
