The last time Lula was at the scene was during the transition period of governments in November 2022, when he was received by the then president of the congress, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG).
This Wednesday’s meeting took place a few hours after the announcement of the tariff of the president of the United States, Donald Trump. On the same afternoon, the Congress of Environmental and Commercial Rules in Brazil’s relations with other countries, in reaction to the measures that were already being announced by the American.
Planalto said there must be a meeting in the same way with the House leaders.
