Proofs, tradition and handicrafts mark the Wine Festival in the Barão Nave in Loulé

Wine production in the Algarve grows by 20% and reaches a record of 2 million liters

It promotes it on April 26, from 12:00 pm, the 9th Wine Festival, which will take place in the Barão Nave, in the municipality of Loulé. This event will be attended by well -known Aldega do Algarve, namely the singer’s cellar, Quinta da Tôr, Canhoto, Malaca, South Composite, Catuna e Silva, as well as with handcrafted wines produced by winemakers of the region.

Alongside the festival will take place a Craft and Regional Kitchen Fair, which invites visitors to enjoy local products and to appreciate the talent of artisans in the region.

The program includes the wine cellars and handicraft wines in competition in the Loulé Municipality Vinhos Contest, where the producers of the Baron ship, village with a wine tradition that dates back to the thirteenth century.

Under the festival will also take place the artisanal wine contest, intended for the vitivinicultors of the municipality of Loulé, whose evaluation will be the responsibility of a jury composed of five specialists.
