Partnership involves threads as an official social network and use of AI glasses at events; Dana White and Mark Zuckerberg have a close relationship
TKO, owner of the, signed a deal with the goal to boost fan engagement through Mark Zuckerberg’s company platforms. The partnership will make the goal the 1st “Official Fan Technology Partner” of the organization of MMA.
The agreement includes Threads as the official fighting social network and the use of the technology company’s artificial intelligence glasses at events. Actions on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are also inserted in the package.
Dana White, UFC president, and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of the goal, have had a close relationship for years. In 2023, White said he talks to Zuckerberg several times a week.
In 2025, White became a member of the Goal Board of Directors. The executive also consulted the company about the use of algorithms to improve the UFC ranking system.
Zuckerberg is an MMA enthusiast and has already attended league events. At UFC 298, in Anaheim, California, he entered the arena next to fighter Alexander Volkanovski.
