Nearly one in two French (49%), ie an increase of seven percentage points in one month, wants to be a candidate in the forthcoming presidential polls, according to a IFOP-Fiducial poll for Sud Radio, which was sentenced to condemning a case of MEPs.
51% of the French, on the other hand, do not want the National Alarm Leader (RN) to be able to nominate Elise, a rate reduced by seven points compared to a previous poll conducted in late February.
But according to the same poll, only 37% of the French believe that Marin Lepen will eventually be a candidate, a reduced by 37 points in one month. Only those who say they support RN (69%) believe that their party’s candidate will be able to be a candidate.
In the vast majority of (79%), respondents believe that Marin Lepen belongs to the far -right – 76% of those who support RN.
The poll was conducted online on April 1st and 2nd in a representative of the French population of 1,000 people aged 18 years and over. The error margin is from 2.8 to 3.1 points.
