The former president (PL) and the governor of Paraná, (PSD), made a joint schedule this Friday (4) in a tied to those of 2026.
The former Mandanician arrived in the state around 10:30 am-it was received by supporters in the airport lobby and, on the way out, even wearing a cap where “Trump” was read-and went straight to the Civic Center in Curitiba, where he had lunch with Ratinho Junior and allies at the Iguaçu Palace, headquarters of the state government.
The meeting lasted more than three hours and, according to guests, the agenda was about “Amnesty and being together in 2026”, in the words of members of the PL and the PSD.
Then Bolsonaro and Ratinho went by plane to Londrina, where they participated in the opening of the traditional Expolondrina, one of the largest fairs in the country aimed at.
Bolsonaro spoke at the event in Londrina and, in the end, cited the participation of Ratinho Junior in the demonstration of Sunday (6), in São Paulo, in defense of amnesty to those reported by the scammer acts of January 8, 2023.
The demonstration is also the form found by Bolsonarists to maintain the former president’s political capital in the midst of the process of the case in the Supreme Court (Supreme Court) in which he is accused of trying a coup d’état to prevent the possession of the president, victorious at the polls.
In his speech in Expolondrina, Bolsonaro repeated that he feels wronged – “they want to get me out of the electoral ballot next year” – and turned to the audience, linked to agro.
“In my government, it did nothing. The rare invasions were resolved in a few hours. We delivered 420,000 titles to the settlers to all of Brazil. I did not demarcate any indigenous land, I did not demarcate any quilombola land. While I was president, we took peace to the field, we respect the producer,” he said.
“My dream is to explore this we look outside in the national territory. We have all this here, but with politics completely wrong, we can not do anything in land,” he continued.
Following, in the election campaign tone, he again asked for support for congressmen aligned with these guidelines: “If you give us 70% of the House and 70% of the Senate, we will do things that, once voted by Parliament, will be put into practice.”
Also in a speech at Expolondrina, Ratinho Junior praised the former Mandator. “I want to greet our President Bolsonaro very specially, who gives us the joy of coming in the largest agricultural fair in the country. President Bolsonaro in office was the president who came to Paraná in history. It is a demonstration of the affection, the love he has for our state,” said the governor.
With an eye on the presidency of the Republic in 2026, Ratinho Junior also said he built “a relationship of friendship and respect” with the former president. “It was the president who invested in Paraná,” he said.
After the opening ceremony of Expolondrina, Bolsonaro spoke to the press at the scene, but gave no details about the conversation with Ratinho Junior hours earlier in the palace.
According to him, the conversation turned around local alliances. Bolsonaro refers to the PL union with the PSD for pre-candidatures to the Senate and the Government of Paraná.
By the agreement being sewn, the federal deputy Filipe Barros (PL) would be one of the two names of the group’s possible alliance for the Senate dispute. The other name should be indicated by Mouse Junior or the governor himself, in the event that he gives up the race to the Plateau.
“The rest we see later,” the former president told reporters.
At lunch, the former president’s entourage met with more than ten federal and state deputies of the PL. The deputy mayor of Curitiba, Paulo Martins (PL), former federal deputy and former Senate candidate in 2022, was also present.
From the PSD group of Ratinho Junior, were the mayor of Curitiba, Eduardo Pimentel, and the president of the Legislative Assembly of Paraná, Alexandre Curi, quoted to run for the government in 2026.
Other names of the PSD are on the list of potential candidates for the state government and Ratinho Junior has already settled part of them at his secretariat, such as Guto Silva, who got the cities’ portfolio, and Rafael Greca, which ended his term at Curitiba City Hall last year and took over the State Secretariat for Sustainable Development.
The name that is chosen within the PSD group should play the polls with Senator (), as the former Lava Jato judge and former Bolsonaro minister has already made clear his intention to compete next year.
