The State Government, through the Department of Roads, Infrastructure and Airport Infrastructure of Acre (Deracre), follows, on Friday, 4, with seven work fronts focused on improving mobility on Acre highways and urban roads. The teams work on Sena Madureira; on Avenida Sabiá, in the Industrial District of Rio Branco; on the AC-10 highway, also in Rio Branco; In addition to the AC-475 highway, in Plácido de Castro; the AC-40 Highway and the Riozinho do Rama extension in the capital.
“We have been working to minimize critical points on state roads and urban roads, in partnership with municipalities, in this winter period. With the arrival of summer, soon, services will be intensified, providing a safer and more efficient road infrastructure for users,” said Deracre President Sula Ximenes.
During inspection to the work-tape works and deep patch on Sabiá Avenue, Sula accompanied the services performed by the Deracre team. The intervention covers 7 km from the road, between the entrance of Block C, in the Industrial District, and the entry of the university complex. The works are carried out with the state’s own resources, by determination of Governor Gladson Camelí.
“This action improves traffic conditions and ensures more safety for drivers and pedestrians,” said the manager.
In the Riozinho do Rola branch, located in the Transacreana region, in Rio Branco, about 700 tons of asphalt mass will be applied. The operation involves 14 workers and eight machines, including buckets, loaders, compactor rollers and backhoes. The service includes hole-covering, conservation and cleaning of the road.
Sula Ximenes explained that the technical team acts on the removal and cleaning of the damaged pavement, followed by the application and compaction of the new asphalt mass. “We are performing maintenance, conservation and recovery services with CBUQ [concreto betuminoso usinado a quente]”He said.
In Sena Madureira, the partnership between the State Government and the City Hall has guaranteed the recovery of important roads, such as Brazil and Avelino Chaves avenues, as well as Padre Egidio Street. In Assis Brasil, the work began in the hospital region, scheduled to recover other streets in the coming days.
The actions reinforce the commitment of the Government of Acre to ensure better traffic conditions on state roads, contributing to road safety and social and economic development of the state.
