Maiara Rotta won the dispute ‘Overall’ (clash between champions of all classes of the same division) of the Fit Model category at Arnold Sports Festival South America (also known as Arnold Classic South America or Arnold Classic Brazil) on Friday afternoon (4).
With the result, the bodybuilder became the first professional Brazilian in the fit model category, implemented in the NPC (National Physique Committee) earlier this year.
In an exclusive interview granted to the blog shortly after descending from the stage, the third athlete to professionalize for the new category across the planet claims that it was “well thrilled”.
“I feel very honored to be able to represent this category (…) I want to represent Brazil in the world and bring the first title of Olympia in Fit Model to our country,” adds Maiara.
South America’s largest fitness event began this morning and will extend until Sunday afternoon (6).
