In Slovakia, there is a growing demand for small flats, interest in smaller apartments is recorded by real estate agencies in all district and regional cities. This was confirmed by real estate expert Karin Inflammatory, saying that smaller apartments are cheaper and thus more affordable. According to the expert, many people buy smaller apartments as an investment.
“This trend is in most Slovak cities, because a smaller area means a lower price and therefore housing is more accessible,” said inflammatory. According to her, this is related to the fact that small apartments are more affordable for young people, so they make compromises not only in the area, but also in their disposal when choosing housing.
According to a real estate expert, TREND was quickly adapted to developers who offer small units in new projects. “Our experience is clear – the projects are always the first to sell small one- and two -room apartments”She said inflammatory.
Small apartments are, according to the inflammatory, a beneficial investment. “Every apartment that we call a good investment from the perspective of the price, the condition of the apartment and the location is considered to be a good investment in the long run. When buying real estate, we recommend that you consult an expert whether the property has the potential to hold its liquidity or future sales,” she added.
