Edimar Alves Roiz, 46, was assaulted on Friday night (4) after being approached by members of a criminal organization while walking down Rua Tião Nature, in the Palheiral neighborhood of Rio Branco (AC). According to the Military Police, the victim was taken to an isolated point and suffered several blows as part of an alleged “discipline” applied by the faction.

The attackers struck punches, kicks and used a wooden slaughter to reach Edimar, especially on the face, back, arms, abdomen and ribs. After the action, the authors fled the scene.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered and sent a basic support team to the address. The victim received first aid at the scene and was sent to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) Franco Silva, in Baixada da Sobral, with health condition considered stable.
The Military Police searched the region, but no suspects were arrested. The case was registered and will be investigated by the Acre Civil Police.
