Pedro Nuno accuses Montenegro of lack of suitability and "using the state to advertise"

In the presentation of the PS electoral program, Pedro Nuno Santos criticized Luís Montenegro of launching the country for elections and pointed out a “total lack of government shame”, which “uses public money and the state to advertise”.

The PS Secretary-General considered this Saturday that “a lack of suitability” to the Prime Minister and that the government project for Portugal has no credibility, pointing out health and housing as “examples of incompetence”.

In the presentation of the electoral program with which the PS presents itself to the legislative elections in Lisbon, and even before announcing the main measures, Pedro Nuno Santos began with an analysis of the national political situation and reiterated criticism of the government of Luís Montenegro.

“We all know how we got here. We arrived here because the government decided to launch the country for elections, not only because Montenegro has sold out its credibility but also because the government has sold out its project to the country.”

Ensuring that the socialists will not escape the debate about Prime Minister, the PS leader pointed out “lack of seriousness from the government that governs Portugal.”

“Total government lack of shame”

The PS leader did not forget the recent Council of Ministers at the Bolhão Market in Porto, and accused the executive of using “public money and the state to make political advertising.”

“We ended these 12 months with a total lack of shame of a government that, in the exercise of function but already in management, uses public money and the state to do political propaganda.”
