Rules for hydrangea care, thanks to which the bush will grow beautifully and bloomed lush
Hydrangeas are real queens of Polish gardens. In our country, garden or bouquet hydrangeas are most often grown. Both of these varieties are perfect for atmospheric conditions and are not excessive. Hydrangeas grow best in humus, permeable soil with a slightly acidic pH 4.5-6.0. Hydress shrubs should be picked up with peat or sigins from conifers, which will gradually acidify the soil. Hydrangeas tolerate drought badly and should be watered regularly. Remember, however, that there are no puddles around the bushes. Excess water can contribute to root rot. and maintaining humidity in the soil. It happens that hydrangea shrubs get sick, and the most common diseases are: powdery mildew (white sediment on leaves), chlorose (leaves of leaves) and gray mold. To reduce the risk of diseases and strengthen the whole bush, fertilizers are used. They provide the necessary nutrients, stimulate growth processes and improve flowering. Hydrangeas should be fertilized from early spring to late autumn. However, remember to give up nitrogen fertilizers at the end of August. It will not need to extend the growing processes and make the plant not prepare for the winter.
Homemade fertilizer that will strengthen the roots and improve hydrangea flowering
A oatmeal conditioner is a good way to spring. This unusual fertilizer will provide plants with many valuable ingredients. Oatmeal contains potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen. In addition, they positively affect the soil structure and increase its water storage capabilities. To prepare a hydrangea conditioner, thoroughly grind 1 tablespoon of oatmeal and pour 1 liter of water. To such a mixture you need to add a small amount of biohumus and leave the whole left overnight. After this time, hydrangea fertilizer is ready. Water the bushes once a week. You can use this type of conditioner throughout the whole season of flowering until autumn. Remember to reduce fertilization at the turn of September and October to allow plants to prepare for the rest season.
