Chamber analyzes a proposal that will oblige free distribution equipment to diabetics; text will still be evaluated by commissions
The Bill It determines that the SUS (Unified Health System) perform the free distribution of continuous glucose monitor to diabetics. Under the proposal, the monitor should have a system that allows constant scan of the patient’s glucose levels.
The text is authored by the deputy (MDB-PA), and is under review in the House of Representatives.
According to the congressman, modern blood glucose monitors are essential for controlling diabetes.
“Unlike traditional glucose meters, these devices are painless, non -invasive and much simpler to use, which makes them extremely suitable for children and adolescents”said the deputy.

The proposal that is being finalized will be analyzed by the health committees; Finance and taxation; and constitution and justice and citizenship.
