140 associations and collectives joined in Lisbon and Funchal. “This case needs to generate more indignation.”

Several hundred people manifested themselves this Saturday in front of the Assembly of the Republic, in Lisbon, shouting “Violation has no forgiveness”in alluding to the case of the young minor raped by three influencers in Loures, who were not detained.

“It’s not no” is another of the most repeated slogans, in the protest organized by a spontaneous group of seven women, which came together about 140 associations and collectives, and which began around 15h00.

Representatives of Left Block, Free and Pan attended the concentration and, in statements to journalists, argued that the violation must become a public crimeand that multinational platforms, social networks managers, should be legally responsible for sharing images and videos of sexual crimes.

Two demonstrations are held in Lisbon and Funchal to demonstrate outrage at the alleged violation of an 16-year-old in Loures by three influencers.

With the motto “Violation does not film, it is condemned”Protesters require justice to do justice in the case of the three influencers who, allegedly, in Loures and released the video on social networks.

This case needs to “generate more indignation,” says Manuela Tavares from Umar to RTP. “We are facing the naturalization of this type of cases, and this cannot happen.”

The three suspects, between 17 and 19 years old, were arrested by the Judiciary Police, but released by the Court, having been subject to periodic presentations and prohibition of contacts with the victim.

The victim wanted to know her Tiktok idols, but the meeting ended in a collection of a building with an alleged violation filmed and released on the platforms.
