The best answer is: Do not allow food to spoil. Unfortunately, it is not always possible. The problem with food waste is huge and many people have no idea how to get rid of moldy or old products properly. The worst thing you can do is flush the remnants into the toilet. And this is far from over the mistakes.
A spoiled food can seriously harm a person and under no circumstances should it be consumed. Even his throwing is not quite easy, because there is a dilemma to which it is thrown into a container. The most common choice is a mistake. It all depends on what kind of broken food it is. Some foods belong to bio -waste, others to mixed waste.
Poiled food: biowaste or mixed?
Bread, rolls or baguettes belonging to plant products should be thrown into bio -waste. However, let us remember the packaging removal before. However, if it is sandwiches with meat or cheese ingredients, the whole content belongs to mixed waste.
Plant residues such as moldy fruits, vegetables or old dry foods such as rice, pasta and hail are also suitable for composting. On the contrary, dairy products, cheese, meat and food residues with animal components belong to mixed waste. Do not forget the correct sorting of packaging.
Most sweets and salty delicacies, as these are highly processed products, also belong to mixed waste.
The remnants of whites and yolk – raw and cooked – belong to mixed waste. The exception is egg shells that are excellent for compost and belong to bio -waste.
