You can have 2 times more tomatoes. This fertilizer is second to none

By growing tomatoes in the garden, we try to avoid the use of chemistry. We want their fruit to be free of pesticides and simply healthy. However, the bushes require fertilization, so it is worth reaching for mineral conditioners. The ideal fertilizer for tomatoes is zeolite – a natural mineral fertilizer.

When choosing natural fertilizers, we reach for infusions, slurry, wood ash or lime. Meanwhile, hardly anyone heard about mineral nutrition of Zeolithic. It is a natural clay -clay mineral with a unique porous structure. It makes Zeolit stop ions and absorbs water. In plant cultivation, it is valued for its properties that improve the soil structure and increase its ability to retention water and nutrients.

Zeolite binds nutrients, preventing them from leaning, and gives them back when the plants need them. This increases the efficiency of fertilization. It also helps in stabilizing the soil reaction, which is beneficial for many plants. It is also important that zeolite absorbs heavy metals and other harmful substances, which promotes healthy plant growth.

Thanks to zeolite, tomatoes grow healthier, have a better developed root system and better drought resistance and diseases. It can be used both in ground cultivation, as well as in pots or plastic tunnels. How to use zeolite to grow tomatoes?

Preparation of soil before planting

  • Spread it evenly at the planting place and mix thoroughly with the ground. It can also be poured directly into the boots under the seedling of tomatoes (about 50 g per plant).

Zeolite as a litter

  • A thin layer (approx. 1 cm) around plants, which will reduce water evaporation and reduce the need for frequent watering.
  • Zeolithic mulch protects the roots against overheating on hot days.

Use in combination with fertilizers

  • Zeolite binds nutrients (e.g. nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus), which prevents them from leaning quickly and makes them gradually released into plants.
  • Mix with compost, manure or mineral fertilizers, which will increase the effectiveness of their operation.

You can easily buy zeolite in garden or online stores, where it costs a dozen or so zlotys. The mineral is also a common component of purchased fertilizers.
