A young man identified as Victor Rafael, a resident of the José Hassem neighborhood, was shot dead on Friday night (4), on Ana de Souza Lira Street, in the Liberdade neighborhood, Epitacioland. He was hit by at least five shots at close range as he walked down the road.

After being shot, the young man fell on the sidewalk. The author of the shots fled the scene and was not found so far. A team from Samu was even triggered, but could only see the death. The Military Police isolated the area until the expertise arrived.

Experts from the Legal Medical Institute (IML) performed the usual procedures and sent the body to Rio Branco, where the autopsy will be done.
According to the first information, Victor did not carry documents at the time of the crime, which delayed the official confirmation of his identity. The Military Police searched the region, but no suspects were arrested. The case is still under investigation.
