Anitta made a surprise participation at Gilberto Gil’s show in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (5). The singer took the stage to sing one of Gil’s most famous songs, “That hug”.
The official profile of the MPB icon shared a video of the moment, where Gil and appear dancing and wiggling together. “Funk who can! I find that will be in memory with the Rio girl,” says the caption of the publication.
This weekend’s show is part of the tour of, “Time King.” Throughout the presentation, Gil goes through the great successes of his career in a chronological way.
The name of the tour refers to the song of the same name released on the 1984 album “Race Human”. “There were several elements I pondered to reach the decision to perform a last tour. There was a reflection on the market and also the physical requirement necessary for great shows. I want to continue doing music at another pace, but before, we will have this beautiful celebration with the public,” said the singer in a press release.
The series of shows, passed through Rio de Janeiro this weekend and still has confirmed dates in eight more cities, including São Paulo.
