The former president’s supporters had gathered since morning in a stretch near the MASP. He arrived at the avenue around 1:45 pm, and the act began at 14h, with the national anthem and a prayer.

(PSD), from Paraná, Ronaldo Caiado (Union), from Goiás, Jorginho Mello (PL), from Santa Catarina, Mauro Mendes (União Brasil), from Mato Grosso, and Wilson Lima (União), from Amazonas. The first four are quoted as presidential in 2026 in the face of vacuum opened by Bolsonaro’s ineligibility.
Claudio Castro (PL), from Rio de Janeiro, had the presence announced, but will not attend.

Asked if he intends to enter the 2026 presidential race, he says no. Kelmon says Bolsonaro asked him to run for state deputy for Sao Paulo. “I live here for over 25 years, it’s the best way to help my party,” he says.

Daughter of Cleriston da Cunha, Clezão, arrested on January 8 who died in prison in 2023, student Luiza Cunha, 21, says the demonstration is important for more people in that event to get out of jail.
