Two women suspected of thefts in the value of 20 thousand euros In the “Duty-free” stores of Lisbon airport were arrested, as part of an investigation started in September, the Public Security Police (PSP) announced today.
The 30 and 32 -year -old detained were already “a vast criminal record” for identical crimes, according to PSP. The “Duty Free” operation allowed to stop women, suspected of six qualified crimes on April 1.
The investigators realized a theft phenomenon in the stores restricted to passengers with tickets, according to the PSP Metropolitan Command.
“They reserved low -cost online airplane tickets so, after passing the magazine and safety area, accessing the area of stores, where several Perfumes, sunglasses and jewelery objectsthen put themselves in possession of the stolen objects of the scene by the passenger arrival zone, ”police needed in a statement.
Present the first judicial interrogation, the Lisbon Criminal Instruction Judge decreed that the two women are waiting for trial in custody.
