The Czech Republic hit a sad news.
After many years of illness, Czech singer Anna Julie Slovackova died at the age of 29. The sad news was announced by her father Felix Slováček.
He informed that the artist was repeatedly treated for cancer.
“I am already knowing about it for a long time and I have been reconciled to everything,” the singer said in a recent interview for Podcast Bellis Pink Talks.
The portal made it clear that palliative chemotherapy is aimed at stopping or slowing down the growth of a malignant tumor, suppressing the patient’s problems, improving or prolonging the life of the patient, but does not lead to cure. Palliative treatment will be started in cases where no form of radical treatment cannot be used.
“I told the doctor my plan that I would stop healing and enjoyed, for example, ten or twenty years of life. After a few sessions, she told me openly that if I didn’t treat myself, it would be a question for a few months,” Slovackova said about the moment she realized her serious medical condition.
“Life is cruel, but also beautiful, it is important to never give up,” she added.
Anna Julie Slováčková was born in 1995, came from an artistic family. Her mother is actress and presenter Dagmar Patrasová, father saxophonist and composer Felix Slováček.
In autumn 2019, doctors found a malignant breast tumor during regular inspection. In October 2023, she announced that she had returned to her cancer, appearing on her lungs.
