Datafolha: 67% say Bolsonaro should give up candidacy in 2026

The Datafolha poll released on Saturday (5) a survey that shows that 67% of Brazilians believe that former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) should give up the candidacy in the 2026 presidential elections.

The show listened to 3,054 people 16 years or older in 172 municipalities, from Tuesday (1st) to Thursday (3). The error margin is 2 percentage points, more or less.

Former President Jair Bolsonaro is ineligible by 2030 by decision of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for abuse of political power and misuse of media. Nevertheless, Bolsonaro says he will be a candidate for the Planalto.

The survey also asked the interviewees who Bolsonaro should support if he is not a candidate in 2026.
