The trip, without a date to return, launched in a limbo the next CPAC Brazil, conservative conference he organizes since 2019.

Originally, this year’s edition would take place in July in Manaus (AM), with A, a counterpoint to the UN climate meeting scheduled for November in Belém (PA).

The event, however, will certainly be delayed, and, according to people close to Eduardo, is at risk of not being held.

In past years, with three months left for CPAC, there was already definition of dates, event auditorium, sponsors and at least part of the guests.

One difficulty is being able to make airline tickets and lodging for speakers and participants in advance.

In addition, the eventual absence of Eduardo, who was notable as the face of the event, would take the interest of the conference a lot, according to a person close to the parliamentarian.

So far, the licensed deputy has not clarified when he intends to return to Brazil. Many allies evaluate that he may not return this year.

One of those involved with the organization, Federal Deputy Captain Alberto Neto (PL-AM) says that the conference will leave the paper. “It will be delayed, but it will happen. We do not know yet when, but certainly before COP,” he says.

The parliamentarian says the idea is to repeat the in Balneário Camboriú (SC).

“Eduardo’s presence in the US should also ensure the participation of politicians from the American right,” he says. Eduardo can participate in person or remote manner.

One possibility is part of the conference to be counters by the PL, as has happened in the past.
