One of the most awaited presence by fans at Arnold Sports South America Festival (also known as Arnold Classic South America or Arnold Classic Brazil), which takes place this weekend in Sao Paulo, was Isa Pereira Nunes, current Olympia champion (most important world bodybuilding championship) at Wellness.
In an exclusive interview with the blog, the carioca athlete – who had been abroad since 2022 – highlighted the affection of the fans and said that “there is no like” to Brazil. “The sport has grown a lot in these years, the event has been crowded. It had been far for a long time and had no idea how many people accompany me,” he adds.
The bodybuilder also talked about the runner-up she got in this year’s edition of Arnold Sports Festival Ohio: “I’ve won a lot and I’ve lost a lot. It was just a defeat, I’m already working to keep my title in Olympia.”
Recently, Eduarda Bezerra – who beat Isa in the second most important tournament of world bodybuilding – said her goal is to beat Olympia 2025. The current world champion, however, countered her rival: “Competition is on stage. Everyone can say what she wants (…) I already competed against the best in the world, either, I don’t feel intimidated by anyone.”
Isa also points out that her opponent “is a great athlete and a great representative of the category”, but will bring her “best version” to the most important championship on the planet.
