The president of France, Emmanuel Macron, has raised this Sunday “strong actions” against Russia, without specifying which, Moscow “continues to try time and continues to turn his back on peace” in Ukraine.
Macron has launched the warning after the call of the Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelenski, so that the international community reacted in the light of the daily attacks of Russia, such as this Sunday against several Ukrainian regions, including kyiv.
“Those attacks of Russia have to cease. It takes a stop to the fire as quickly as possible. And (need) strong actions if Russia continues to try time and continues to turn your back on peace,” he said.
“How long will Russia ignore the peace proposals of the United States and Ukraine while continuing to kill children and civilians?” Has the French president asked.
Macron has thus alluded to Russian attack against a residential area in the hometown of Zelenski, Krivi Rig, on Friday afternoon, in which 19 people died, including nine children. This Sunday, a man died in Russian bombing in kyiv.
The French president recalled that Ukraine already accepted “almost a month ago” the proposal of the American president, Donald Trump, for “a complete high fire and without conditions for 30 days”, while Russia “has redoubled the intensity” of his attacks against Ukraine.
