With Memphis Depay protagonist, Corinthians quietly beat Vasco 3-0, this Saturday (5), for the second round of Brasileirão 2025, in the Neo Chemistry Arena.
The Dutchman scored two beautiful goals (one of them annulled by impediment) and assisted Yuri Alberto to open the scoring. Already in the additions, he participated directly in the goal against João Victor.
In addition to the goals confirmed by referee Anderson Daronco, Corinthians scored two other goals, which were annulled after consultation with VAR.
Vasco’s coach Fábio Carille surprised: only three players were kept in the squad that started the last two matches of the club.
It was the first of Corinthians in Brasileirão, reaching four points. Already Vasco, follows with three points.
