The head of the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Computerization (Mirri) of the Slovak Republic perceives the head of the Ministry of Department Samuel Migaľ (independent) as a manifestation of confidence in the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico (Smer-SD). Migaľ said this in the discussion show Politics 24 on JOJ 24.
“I take it as a manifestation of confidence that, despite my frequent critical attitude towards the Prime Minister’s or government steps, I get the opportunity to prove that it can be done differently and have results that Mirrri hasn’t had yet,” stated the minister.
At the same time, he stressed that he is considered to be an independent nominee in the ministerial position, who also has the ambition to be a kind of “bridge” between the coalition and the opposition and thus contribute to a reduction in tension to aversion between political opponents, which is signed under the growing polarization of the whole society. He believes that the best laws can be created by openness to the proposals of the coalition and the opposition. “Good legislative proposals arise on both sides,” stressed.
He continues to be behind the critical attitude toward the voice-SD party, He is still convinced that under the current leadership she left the ideals of its founder and current President of the Slovak Republic Petr Pellegrini. He thinks that this is also confirmed to some extent that the SaS has excluded cooperation with the voice for the future.
He admitted that, in addition to breaking up with the voice, his communication with the current head of the state, with which he appeared at the meetings before the elections, had also changed. “I would say there is no relationship between us,” He noted, but he did not want to return to the handover of the appointment decree, in which the President expressed himself critically criticized on the way Migaľ became a minister. “It’s over, we do our job, we want to prove that the executive can be done other than the way we criticized ourselves,” added.
He also commented on the proposed amendment to the NGO Act. He pointed out that the call after the work -transparency of non -profit organizations was heard directly from the third sector. It intends that the law adopted should not restrict non -profit organizations, but at the same time it should “lead to prevent autonomous policy from being influenced by third parties”.
“I am not even against the NGOs who focus on politics, but it should be clear who they play for the course,” stated. According to him, the Lobbying Act should be addressed by independent law and also a proper legislative process, including comment procedure.
