GENIAL RESEARCH/QUEST released on Sunday (6) points out that most Brazilians believe that the former president of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), participated in the plans of an alleged attempted coup in 2022.
According to the survey, 49% of respondents say they believe that. Another 35% say they believe that the former president had no participation.
Another 15% of respondents did not know or did not want to answer on the subject.
The two rates were up 1% from Quaest survey on the same subject in December, when 48% believed that Bolsonaro was part of the alleged coup attempt, while 34% understood that he was unaware of the plans.
For the survey, Quaest heard 2,004 people between March 27 and 31. The search margin of the survey is 2 points for more or less and the confidence level is 95%.
