Life seemed to smile to Isidoro M., aka The Dorountil he arrived on November 30, 2021. Four years before, a football team from his city, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, had been bought, and reformed the stadium and renamed him to his honor and glory: the Doro Estadium. At a wallet, Isidoro until he managed to bring to the international star of the reggaeton Nicky Jam to give one of the four concerts that the singer offered in Spain in 2019. But that November of four years ago, his apparent facade as a successful businessman vanished, in which he was accused of washing, at least three million euros from marijuana traffic.
Beyond the money and the assets blocked in that operation – 11 people ended up being held, including Doro himself -, the Civil Guard compiled a huge volume of documentation. That information has been key in this new operation, called Sabila, in which Isidoro M. has fallen again, along with three other people. They are investigated for all belonging to an alleged criminal organization that bleached, at least ,. After ending, the narco is already free, as sources close to the case have confirmed.
If in 2021 one of the key pieces of the investigation against Doro was that concert of Nicky Jam that would have cost him a million euros, this time the epicenter of the investigations is in the sale of a farm with access to the navigable area of the San Pedro River, in Puerto Real. The agents discovered that Isidoro M., 47, made a “fraudulent purchase” of the land, written in a million euros, but for which another 300,000 euros paid in cash. In addition, the researchers suspect that, in the transaction, they participated testaferros, after discovering that the former owners was a Colombian marriage with a history of drug trafficking and money laundering.
Although Doro jumped to the fore in 2021 accused of kneading a fortune with falsified marijuana plantations as CBD plantations, the truth is that the narco was an old acquaintance of the agents for decades. Isidoro made his steps in the world of drug trafficking linked to hashish traffic from Morocco. Son -in -law of the historic local narco, the aquatic, the Doro climbed quickly and treasured various police records, convictions and stays in jail since 1995. In this new operation he has ended up detained after spending two years in provisional prison for Operation Talofita.
Beyond the farm investigated in Puerto Real – a rustic land segregated in 54 plots of alleged agricultural use – El Doro has intervened goods and money worth 2.5 million euros. The list includes real estate assets in the provinces of Cádiz and Sevilla, three vehicles – a high -end – and the content of a security box. Inside, 790,000 euros appeared and $ 35,900 in cash. In addition, the operation has resulted in three other legal persons – business – investigated, as confirmed on Sunday the Civil Guard in a press release.
The new investigation that near El Doro is directed by the Court of Instruction number 3 of Sanlúcar, the same one that already directed the inquiries of the Talofita operation. Then, among the 11 detainees was the woman of the leader and her daughter. The drug trafficker spent almost a year and a half in prison, until he got freedom in the first months 2023. The Civil Guard also investigates him under the suspicion that he was, in which members of the Directorate charged 9,000 to 15,000 euros for accessing permits. In the case of El Doro, he allegedly achieved a penitentiary benefit claiming that he had a phobia to be locked up and managed to supervise his mental health state a private psychologist and not that of the center.
The Doro – so known by the diminutive of his first name – dedicated the supposed benefits of drug trafficking in sustaining a striking and wasteful life, as sources close to the case of 2021 have already explained to El País. That included an ostentatious villa of modern airs in the area of Monte Algaida, rustic land on the outskirts of Sanlúcar where various local narcos reside. Much of the rest of the profits invested them in buying the local UD Algaida football team in 2017. Just a year later, he presented the remodeling of the club field, which he renamed with his own nickname.
