Domestic book industry demands remuneration for AI training

Vienna – The domestic book industry is concerned about artificial intelligence. Specifically, the illegal use of texts for training purposes by Large Language Models (LLM) is criticized. This requires a corresponding remuneration for authors, it said in a broadcast. “The Austrian legislature must now react quickly to ward off even greater damage from the book industry.”
