Elton John made an outburst about the loss of vision he has been facing after taking an infection in his right eye last year. At 78, the singer revealed that he can no longer read or see his children playing sports.
“I can’t watch TV, I can’t read. I can’t see my children playing rugby and soccer, and it’s been a very stressful time because I’m used to absorbing everything. It’s distressing,” he said in an interview with The Times of London.
He continued: “You get emotional, but you need to get used to it, because I’m lucky to have the life I have. I still have my wonderful family and I can still see something from here [apontando para o olho esquerdo]. So you say to yourself, just move on. ”
The singer has two children with her husband, David Furnish, born through renting belly. The eldest, Zhacary, is 14 years old, while the youngest, Elijah, has been 10. Since 2023, John has been away from the stage – but not from music.
In November 2024, he announced that his next album, Who Believes in Angels? The album was released only last Friday, April 4. To Estadão, Brandi said the album can be a way to help the singer face recent health problems.
