If China does not suspend until Tuesday, 8, 34% retaliatory tariffs against the United States-announced last week in response to Donald Trump’s overcrowded overcutings-the US will apply “additional 50% rates to the Asian country from April 9,” the US President Truth Social.
Trump also stated that “all conversations with China about the meetings they requested will be closed!”
“Negotiations with other countries, which have also requested meetings, will start immediately,” added the US President.
He wrote: “China imposed 34%retaliatory tariffs, coupled with their already fare record holders and a massive long -term currency manipulation, despite my warning that any country that retaliates the US with additional tariffs, and its existing tariff abuse against our nation, will be immediately targeted by substantially higher tariffs, above the initially established.”
