A network of parliamentarians from various legislative houses operating in the defense of women’s rights should be created during a meeting next Friday (11) at the São Paulo Legislative Assembly.
The “Women’s Attorney’s Meeting and representatives of women’s defense committees and parliamentary fronts” is organized by the collective warrant of the PSOL feminist bench and the Institute, founded by the former deputy, which deals with gender political violence.
Parliamentary women from various states were invited in women’s prosecutions, commissions and parliamentary fronts.
More than 100 parliamentarians should participate, including PSOL leader in the House of Representatives (RJ), and state deputies Bruna Rodrigues (PCdoB-RS) and Larissa Gaspar (PT-CE).
“It is a great opportunity to strengthen the articulation between different legislative instances in the struggle for the guarantee of women’s rights. Meetings like this can support us in the construction of joint strategies,” says Paula Nunes, a codepputated of the PSOL feminist bench.
