A, linked to, will launch this month a book about two emblematic slaughter of the situation of violence in the countryside.
The work “Chacinas and Agricultural Conflicts: And of the Quilombo de Iúna”, is overhanging about episodes respectively in Pará, which left 10 dead, and in the Holy Spirit, with six victims. Both cases occurred in 2017.
The book was scheduled to go out in the month in which there is traditionally mobilization of field movements, such as the MST.
It is the third volume of the “Swimsuit and the Politization of Deaths: Case Study”, which seeks to trace a panorama of violence in the countryside from reports published in the press.
The initiative is a partnership with the Agrarian Secretariat of the PT, Pastoral Terra Commission, black initiative with a new drug policy and Palmares Cultural Foundation.
The launch of the work in the House of Representatives will be attended by representatives of the Ministries of Justice, Agrarian Development and Racial Equality.
