US President says measure will be taken if Asian country does not remove a rate of 34% on US products

The President of the United States, Donald Trump (Republican), threatened on Monday (7.br.2025) to impose additional 50% tariffs against China from Wednesday (9.abr). According to the Republican, the measure will be taken if the Asian country does not withdraw by Tuesday (8.abr).

“In addition, all conversations with China about the meetings they asked for us will be canceled! Negotiations with other countries, which also requested meetings, will start immediately”disse Trump .

The American leader argues that China already commits “Abuse” Commercials against the US for a long time with high rates, illegal subsidies to favor their companies and currency manipulation to make Chinese products cheaper abroad.

He also stated that he had already warned that any retaliation would be answered with even larger rates.

. Then, on April 2 ,. Beijing was taxed at 34% with the measure.

China responded on April 4. The country already in US agricultural products and food to retaliate the first rates imposed by Trump.
