Aphids are small insects, measuring from 2 to 5 mm. Depending on the species, they occur in both winged and unwashed form. Their body is elongated and finally has a pointed abdomen with two short “tubes”, i.e. siphons on the sides.
These insects take on different colors. They can be creamy, green, yellow, orange and even black. They feed on plants, in large colonies, counting several dozen or several hundred individuals.

The aphids begin to be active in early spring. That’s why It is best to make the first, preventive spraying of roses in April.

Preventive spraying on aphids can be made ourselves from the products we have in the kitchen and bathroom. It will also work when the pests have already attacked our plants. So how do you make such a measure?
At the beginning Pour 2 tablespoons of ammonia and 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid into a small amount of water. Mix the whole thoroughly and dilute the resulting solution from 8 liters of warm water.
